With the continuous development of social economy, a large number of rural labor forces are transferred to the city, which leads to the phenomenon of left-behind families and intergenerational education in rural areas. Especially in rural areas in remote mountainous areas, left-behind children are everywhere.
In the village of Jingpo Ethnic Group in Dehong, Yunnan Province, on the border with Myanmar, there are such a group of left-behind children who lack family care for a long time. Their parents may be forced by the pressure of livelihood, and they are wandering all over the world. Or due to family changes and unspeakable helplessness, and the children are separated. Without rich material gifts and loving companionship, these children face various tests of survival. In order to give the left-behind children here a warm physical and mental harbor, an exotic couple came here and took root here, devoted themselves to exploring education and focusing on companionship. Since its founding in 2009, they have been protecting the healthy growth of more than 200 children from poor families for 13 years. This big family full of “love and acceptance” is affectionately called the “Banyan tree root home” by the children.
Most of the children that Banyan helps directly are children and teenagers above school age, but it has also been observed that there are many problems in the care of these children’s infant brothers and sisters. Behind the tight supplies, there are also some hidden dangers in the safety of infant products. In order to allow maternal and child families and children in the mountain areas to be more secure, the 18 years of national maternal and child brand Chiaus hand in hand with baby and child nutrition brand Akita Manfull, jointly launched the “easy parenting” public welfare action.
